Your talking apples and oranges here !! We have played with various VOIP DIAL TONE providers in the last few months. We have one customer that has both a Vonage and a packet 8 running on a Vodavi STS with NO problems other then the occasional dropped packet. This is the customer that couldn't get all the SBC lines he thought he needed but could get 3 lines WITH DSL's
WHAT "NITIN" IS TALKING ABOUT IS severing internet to his users via the KX-TD Your looking at the wrong platform to do this! To do this you need a DSLAM AT THE "FEED" AND A ROUTER OR BRIDGE AT THE SUBSCRIBER END ( http://computer.howstuffworks.com/dsl9.htm) Don Ritchie Century Communications Euclid, Ohio Wolfgang Boernert wrote: >We have used a 4 Vonage boxes for 8 CO's >Just plugged the RJ14 into the TD system as normal POTTS lines and works >A-OK > >Wolfgang > >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of >Support >Sent: Saturday, July 16, 2005 10:17 >To: N D; kxt@kxthelp.com >Subject: Re: KX-T: Broad-band > >Hi Nitin, > >Do you mean like Dialup or ADSL on the CO line and give the extension users >have access to it? >I am also interested and please let me know if you've got the solution. >I have tested with a gateway PC acting as a dialup gateway RAS server having >the modem ports connected to the CO lines. >I am interested if it can be done without the need of the PC. > >Best Regards, > >Arnold > > > > > -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
