our customers used to take the battery out so they could take it to radio shack to get a replacement, and ended up loosing it ;-)
the battery pack is marked in the pix, it is made up of two rechargeable nicad cells 1.2v @ 110ma/hr each. you should be able to find 2 "AAA" nicads at radio shack that should work well wired in series. you will have trouble finding a mating connector, it's an odd ball, but red is plus and black is minus. the "AAA" cells are normally 300ma/hr which will give you twice the storage time, and the charging circuit will have no trouble charging them. i would not use regular batteries(voltage too high), or nimh(they self discharge), or larger batteries(charger circuit is limited). someone sent me a message they have them in stock (at Pano prices? ;-) maybe they would send one to your country. good luck, -larry 7/10/05 10:39:41 PM, "Support" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >Dear larry, > >Thanks again for the information. >I could find the connector for it on the left side of the case. >However, being no battery is attached to it, I didn't know about that. >So, it seems like I should put the battery on that connector instead of >giving the external power supplied to the supercap. >Will it be possible to connect any kind of 2.4V battery to that connector on >the left side of the case? >Is it rechargeable or non-rechargeable? >Can I use 2 x 1.5V AA batteries using the AA size battery holder? > >Sincerely, > >Arnold > _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
