thanks John, i just picked up both a 160 and a 161.
i just put the 160 in the customer system to get them running. i couldn't get the 161 to work in the shop 1985 816 (with -1 upgrade), and didn't try the 160. later, i'll play around to see what was happening, the cpu doorphone connector was installed "upside down"(index to left) at the factory, and i had to fix that first. i need to check a few old 816 to see if that happened before. all connectors index to left EXCEPT the doorphone, and the circuit board label shows pin 1 is 180 degrees from the other connectors - think the assembler just put it in backwards. all the voltages are on the correct pins if i ignore the index. makes me wonder how that one passed test;-) -larry 6/21/05 9:28:07 AM, John Romkey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >We use a 161 in a kxtd1232 that's slightly too old to support doors 3 & >4, and it works fine for us. >- john romkey > _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
