Reminds me of the old AT&T days- "Why use one relay when six will do!"
I am amazed how many new wallwart powered little boxes have a full LAMP config that lets you http to a full graphics console. (Broadband gateways size of two cigarette packs, and it's Linux/Apache/Mysql/Php) Sip phones are close to a full gui now. Anyone working on an ata that a KXT 70xx, 72xx, and 74xx can plug into, or better yet, new cards to replace the card in these phones? Sounds like a great opportunity. Workhorse Pano phones run by asterisk, every feature we every wanted or even dreamed about, red - green - even yellow buttons, shiftable top two or three rows of buttons. dss that can be all CO's. A soft switch network of all your customer's branches. your office can be an extension on all of your customers systems, on your dss. it's ok to dream once-in-awhile. back to reality and another workaround ;-) -larry 6/2/05 6:06:34 AM, steve ligett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >Hmmm - we're heading toward a small system with a MIPS, ARM, or PowerPC >chip in it, I think.
