The flashing light means that the tvs is not connected to the KXTD. Make sure you have a 4 conductor line cord connecting the same kxtd station ports to the tvs. The default station numbers for voice mail ports are 165, 166, 167, 168 and so on. If it worked before you screwed with it look for the obvious causes, like how you connected the tvs to the phone system.
