I just replaced my old KX-TD816-1 with a -7 and was hoping to reconfigure the setup to make the voicemail work better.
I have 3 lines, 2 for voice and 1 for fax. Fax is DIL1:1 right to the fax extension and works fine. The voice lines are my business line (1) and my home phone (2) and I want to use the tvs75 like an answering machine for these. Incoming call unanswered on line 1 should route to mbx 101, incoming call on line 2 unanswered should route to mbx 102. The old way I had to do it was to set up phantom extensions and then program phantom buttons on each phone I wanted to ring on incoming call. I was using IRNA to pass it to vm, then the tvs75 would transfer the incoming msg to the correct mbx so the msd waiting light on the correct phone would light up. I was hoping to be able to accomplish this in a better fashion using extension group with a mailbox for the group or something like that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
