We still have several of these systems in the field working fine.

Volume problems a usually from the phone company end.
Did you check the voltage and amps loading  on the CO lines ?

If you are referring to a "CONFERENCE" feature, no there is no internal way
to boot the volume. It would be better to have the customer subscribe to
phone company 3-Way calling and use there feature.

Seriuosly tho, I've never heard of a global volume adjustment on these
systems.
It's certainly not in the manual if there is. There may be a couple of pots
on the main board, you could try fiddling with them.
