For five years or more, cordless phones have outsold corded, so mfrs. make fewer corded models, and apparently none with built-in answerers. Pan still makes a couple of 2-liners, including http://www.ablecomm.com/pakxgoba2ph.html Cortelco (http://www.ablecomm.com/ittcor2linsp.html and TMC ( http://www.ablecomm.com/tmcvmul2phin.html ) also make good ones. You could also use the Panasonic KX-TG4000 4-line "wireless" system (WITH ANSWERING). The base phone has a conventional wired handset. You can use it with just two lines if you want, and sell the cordless handset that comes with it on eBay.
