Moisture is not usually a problem on a boat, and certainly not one that
size. There are two things to think about. If the boat is kept in a warm
place and unattended, they can get warm inside. The other (and bigger)
problem is vibration. If the equipment in mounted on a wall or bulkhead
that picks up engine vibration or "bumps" from hitting waves, it can be hard
on solid wire. Most wiring on a boat is done using stranded wire to reduce
breakage. Since this might be difficult for the phone wiring, one might pay
special attention to the location of the box and its mounting.
