I am helping a customer with an old TVP150. The case for this looks
like the old kxt 1232. It has 2 big 2 port interface cards along with
other control and cpu cards. I am connecting it to a kxtd 1232-1. I set
up the ksu for vm dpits integration but nothing happened. I deleted the
vm setup and just put the extensions in their own hunt group (8) which
is set for AA. Kind of like what you would do with a kxt 624 and voice
mail. When I plugged the stations in I was able to connect to vm by
dialing the extensions connected. I am just guessing here what to do
with this. I have not worked with this older stuff. The software for the
vm looks the same as the newer vm's.
My guess is I would set the vm ports for day and night to the custom
greetings I want, create the mail boxes I need, set the vm to interface
with the kxtd1232 and bingo I'm done. How do you vtr a caller directly
to a mail box. Would the intercept routing for trunks in the kxtd go to
the first station port connected to vm for delayed ring. Can you put a
night key on the phones with the dash 1 software. How well do these
systems integrate with each other. Any information would be helpful.
Thanx, Ross
