damaged once removed! The chip manufacturer will GUARANTEE you a quality working chip,
but will NOT guarantee that the chip you purchased is the correct one for your
particular control unit - that is your responsibility!"
The chart (the same chart that all the sites use) shows that it is possible to upgrade
from version 3 to version 6 through software.
I have not been able to find any description explicitly stating whether you can
upgrade ver 3 to ver 6 with ROM change except this chart..
