I haven't disconnected all of the phones, but I got an extra phone and
removed each phone, one at a time. After replacing a phone, I waited until
the problem happened again and then replaced another phone. I'm pretty sure
that it's not the phones, although I suppose it could be related to the
power supply. If that's the case, then perhaps the NUMBER of phones that
the unit is driving is an issue.

There is an expansion card in my system, but it's happening on pretty much
all of the extensions. I suppose that if I remove the expansion card and
the problem stops occurring, then I can limit it to the card or to the power
draw. Of course, this problem sometimes occurs only once a week, so it can
take quite a while to determine if the problem has gone away.

13 of my 16 ports are in use, and there's nothing connected to the other 3.
By the way, 2 of the ports are connected to SLT answering machines, with the
TAM setting enabled. (No, this isn't the same system that my TVS75 is
connected to.) Come to think of it, I'm not sure that I've unplugged the
TAMs in my tests. Other than that the system is pretty vanilla.

By the way... One other symptom I've noticed that I forgot to mention... W
hen two system phones are conferencing with an outside call and one hangs
up, the system sometimes disconnects the call (as if the second extension
wasn't off-hook). I don't know if this is related. (It appears to occur
mostly in conjuction when I hang up my KX-TD7895.)

Todd: Does any of this sound familiar to you? FYI my system is a -0, so I
doubt that your -4 upgrade is responsible for this unless you damaged
something in the process. My system also has 2 active CO lines and an
expansion card. The expansion card has 3 CO lines as well as 8 extensions.
I don't have CID.
