My system is a -0 with an upgraded EPROM, so the manual doesn't cover things
like voice mail transfer. (I don't even have a page 3-137.) My assumption
that VTR would work in my configuration was based on information in the
VPS75 manual. On page 4-17 of that manual, it says that the voice mail
transfer button can be used with D-PITS or Inband Signaling.

The way I see it, there are 4 possibilities at this point:

1. The 624's VTR is incompatible with the VPS75.
2. I haven't set all the parameters properly on the 624 to get VTR working.
3 The VPS75 manual is wrong, and I need APT or D-PITS.
4. My Inband Signaling parameters need to be tweeked.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I should proceed from here? Optimally,
I'd like to get VTR working. If I can't, what are my options? I know I can
set up call forward on busy/no answer, but that means that the person I
transfer will need to wait for the no answer timeout before getting to the
mailbox. It also means that the FWD/DND light will be constantly flashing,
which I find really annoying. (Is there any way to get that light to stop
flashing?)

Any input would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark
