To summarize the postings:

Group Priority for Automatic Access (Dial 9) is based on the settings from
program 103.

WITHIN a group, access is as follows:

1. Preference is given to CO lines connected to the SAME cabinet.
2. Preference is then given based on the setting from program , titled LINE
HUNT. It can take the value Small->Large OR Large->Small. It is found
(under the TIE TRG Setting) and, as has been correctly pointed out, is
program 440.

If a CO is busy (or you are not allowed to use it for outgoing calls), then
the system goes to the next CO down the line.

It has been suggested that if you have a Centrex line hunt group
(CO1->CO2->CO3->CO4), then you should set LINE HUNT for outgoing calls to
Large->Small to minimize the chance of "glare" (meaning that an incoming
call arrives at the EXACT moment that someone accesses a CO for outgoing
use). I've never seen it to be a practical issue.
