We could greatly reduce the list spam if the admin sets Mailman
to deny posting to all but subscribers.
The downside is; this excludes the casual questioner who spots the
list & has a question. That could be mitigated by an appropriate
reply message ("Posting to the KXT list is limited to subscribers,
but you are welcome to join -- membership includes KXT dealers, KXT
administrators, homeowners, and the merely curious...")
