The 1232-4 has a paging amplifier output.  You can feed it to anything
that accepts line level audio.  That would include cheap Radio Shack
amplifiers to which you can attach any form of inexpensive speaker.
Frankly, if you are covering any sort of area, the least expensive
approach has always been a small paging amplifier with a 70v or 25v
output and as many speakers as are necessary to cover the area.
