Hello, We have a TD500 installed at our site with a relatively simple config: 2 LCOT cards, 8 DLC and 1 DHLC cards. Also a TVS-200. All extensions/users in one location (Houston, TX). Now, the owner has decided to hire a remote sales person who will live in Dallas. And of course the owner wants that person to be somehow supplied with a phone that functions as though it is on our phone system; in other words, the phone in Dallas acts just like its sitting on a desk hard-wired here in our building. What are the possible solutions? My phone vendor suggested a leased line solution. This would require a T1 line from us to him and a phone system on his end. After doing some configuration work and seeing some demos of a 3COM NBX system, I realized there may be a better solution. So finally, here's my questions: 1) Does anyone know of a cost-effective solution to this problem? Just one user at the remote site. 2) Is there a way to take an analog extension out of the TD500, plug it into a box that gets me to VoIP and talks over the Internet to another similar box on the other end? Then I can install DSL at both ends and get connectivity that way. Thanks -- Mike Frederick [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (281)497-0620 (281)497-0683 FAX
