Hi Jim, That's what I do at home. It's easier than you think. Set up one mailbox that has a good number for you (123, 111, whatever). Program it so that it does have an extension jack assigned to it. It does not need a phone plugged in but it should think it is an actual extension number.
Set the mailbox for "intercom paging" that is by calling the box, 4/auto attendant status, 1/call transfer status, 3/intercom paging. Now record the "owners name" for that box with the phrase that you would like to have paged i.e. "hey, Dad's on the phone, press the blinking button" or whatever (press 43) When you call in and get the custom menu, enter the extension number. The TVS will say something like, "please hold while I page your party". Then it will page saying something like "I have a call for <owner's name>". <owner's name> is what you recorded "Dad's on the phone..." You can delete or erase the prompt 266 for "I have a call for..." (tvs *998-5-6-1-1). I found that the tvs won't let you "turn off" a prompt unless you first have replaced the system prompt with something else. So I often just record a half-second of silence for the prompt. I use it often.
