Hi all, A question for the professionals and DIY people on the list. The wife and I are putting up a new shack and wondered if the KXTD-1232 is still a good choice for a home? Our desire is to automate security, cctv - doorphone, whole house audio, lighting, intercom, etc.
Although we will probably run out of money before we get it all done, we want to have our equipment picked and to be totally pre-wired. We will also have our final phone system installed when we move in. Does the KXTD play nicely with other equipment? It seems to me to have most of the features we would need, but are there products that would be better? Or are there other solutions out there I should look at that might integrate tighter with the home automation controller? Thoughts? Recommendations? We have 3 pots lines, 2 VOX2 boxes for our StarTAC phones, and would add maybe two IP (Multitech maybe) phone hookups to work. We would have several 7885's or 7995's as well as 7400 series phones. (At work we have a KXTD-1232 with a Adtran 750 channel bank and Cisco 1720 router for shared access (12 lines - 768k internet) on a T1) Thank you, Doug -- Douglas McKalip Rex Service Company 7030 W. 111th Street Worth, IL 60482 708/448-5558 (Voice) 708/448-7396 (FAX) 800/HI REX TV (800) Mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
