I don't have my ref card here, but I think P051 was the first version for d816, and might not support vm integration. You might put station 101 in prg mode and see if prog 117 and 118 exist, and also even 113,114. I remember we installed a few d1232's in place of d816's a few years ago while waiting for a vm version of the d816.
