Hi Rodney, sorry the message got rejected, and thanks again for the very generous offer. I'm CCing Rik Mills directly, of the Kubuntu team.

Hi Nate,

If this message gets rejected by the list, please forward it on.

I've been using Kubuntu for years so it would be good to give something back.

Your site: https://kubuntu.org/ is running WordPress 5.1.4 which is a bit out of date.

My company owns wpquasar.com and we have an advanced level of tooling for WordPress hosting and management.

I'm happy to offer:

- A free production instance

- A free staging instance

- SFTP access

- Updates and Let's Encrypt management.

Porting it over shouldn't be an issue. The .iso downloads can stay where they are.

Let me know if you're interested.

Keep up the good work!

Rodney

Hi Nate,

Hope you're having a great start to the year!

I just noticed Kubuntu.org is running WordPress 5.1.4.

My company does WordPress hosting and happy to host it for you for free (that is if Canonical will allow it :)). We can keep it updated too :).

Keep up the good work.

Regards

Rodney

Thanks Nate.

Indeed, that integration just appeared in the latest KaOS builds - talk about coincidence.

Any interest in that dolphin one I wrote about?

Cheers

I tried recently! Read the email thread:

The bottom line: we can't turn on this desirable behavior by default     until we merge the Audio Volume and Audio/Video KCMs, because right now     turning on the behavior in the Audio Volume KCM by default will disable     functionality in the Audio and Video KCM without it being apparent why.

In the meantime, there's a simple workaround: System Settings >
Multimedia > Audio Volume > Advanced > Check "Automatically switch all     running streams when a new output becomes available". Be aware that this
will disable some functionality in the Audio and Video KCM.

But don't worry, it's on my radar screen.
