Public bug reported:

kubuntu-settings sets the date format of the Digital Clock applet to "Date
(ISO)", instead of upstream KDE default value, that is "Date (short format)".
This results in the date not being shown in the regional format of the user's
locale. As an example, for April 18th on a German system "2026-04-18" is shown
as the date string, while upstream default "Date (short format)" would show
"18.04.26", which is the correct and expected date format in Germany.
