Public bug reported:

When trying to start kdeconnect-sms on Kubuntu Plucky, nothings happens.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot current Kubuntu Plucky live image in a VM.
2. In Application menu (or Konsole), start kdeconnect-sms

OBSERVED RESULT
kdeconnect-sms window doesn't appear, nothing happens.
Terminal output is something like this:

EXPECTED RESULT
kdeconnect-sms window opens, like in 24.10 (works even if no device is 
currently paired).
