@racb AFAIK libayatana-appindicator is a "Non-Unity-Specific" fork of libappindicator.
At some point (I believe during 20.04) libappindicator was abandoned and libayatana-appindicator was marked as a replacement. While they were mostly compatible, at some point software packages (eg. Spotify) started to require libayatana-appindicator directly and the libraries started to behave differently in some situations. The "switch" had to happen at some point (preferably before 24.04) but was missed in Kubuntu manifest, hence the SRU. @scarlettmoore If the change affects dist-upgrade, adding "Provides" in addition to "Replaces" might help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2065465 Title: [SRU] broken sub-menus on some "systray" indicators To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/2065465/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
