Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release: 10.04 2) Version of the package kde-window-manager: Installiert: 4:4.4.2-0ubuntu14 Kandidat: 4:4.4.2-0ubuntu14 Versions-Tabelle: *** 4:4.4.2-0ubuntu14 0 500 http://mirror.intra.xyz.local/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3/4) I have a lenovo Thinkpad T61 with an Intel graphics card (1280x800). When I'm at my desk in the office I have an external monitor plugged into (1680x1050). I often have to unplug it for meetings etc. The problem is: When I have applications open on the _external_ screen and I disable the external screen in systemsettings or with xrandr KWin does _not_ move the applications to my Notebook screen! So they are unreachable from the notebook screen because the applications are still "displayed" on the _unplugged_ monitor. That's very annoying! KWin _must_ move windows from a monitor which is unplugged to a monitor which is active because otherwise your applications can't be reached any more. ** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- KWin does not move windows to active screen when disabling a monitor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/663696 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
