Shouldn't be a problem with Kubuntu Intrepid Ibex (Kubuntu 8.10), removable
media is handled in an entirely different way under the hood.
If this still is an issue in Ibex, please reopen this bug.
Also, for future reference, please don't assign yourself to bugs unless you
intend on fixing them. ;)
