By default, Kubuntu does not contain GDebi or KPackage. When I right- click on a deb file, I have only "Kubuntu Package Menu", which consists only "Install package", "Uninstall package" and "Show package info". All of this points lead to dpkg. GDebi is a good thing, thanks, but it doesn't included in kubuntu.
Also, if I have several pakages, like OpenOffice do (without any dependencies problems), I still have to install it one by one, and resolve them with my hand. And the last - the problem is not with the particular deb file. -- installing package from konqueror uses dpkg, does not provide automatic dependency resolution https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123111 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kubuntu-meta in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
