Now, we have two problems. First one is to determine how kmail reaches this state (which could lead to another bug report). Second one, which is of more interest for you, is how you can recover your data! A quick look into google (kmail qgarray) gives some tracks to follow, first one is in German, which I guess you speak better than me. Please have a look and come back.
