I can confirm this too. As said before: it's not only when upgrading from
breezy, but also with a fresh install from Kubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) Flight
CD 6.
I noticed the following:
 - The problem does not occur when starting adept from the command line: 'sudo
adept'
 - The problem still occurs after deleting .kde folder from user's and root's
homedir.
- When starting adept from the command line (sudo apept -in a terminal) the
following files and directories are created:
       [Dir] /root/.qt
       [Dir] /root/share
       [Dir] /root/share/config
       [File] /root/share/config/adeptrc
- When starting adept from the menu -with kdesu(d)- the following files and
directories are created:
       [Dir] /root/.qt
       [Dir] /root/.kde
       [Dir] /root/.kde/share
       [Dir] /root/.kde/share/config
       [File] /root/.kde/share/config/adeptrc
       [Dir] /root/.kde/cache-neo
       [Dir] /root/share
       [Dir] /root/share/config
       [Dir] /root/share/mimelnk
       [Dir] /root/share/services
       [Dir] /root/share/applnk
To me it seems that Adept is not configured correctly during the build. But
hey, I'm not an expert. If anyone needs more information don' t hestitate to
contact me.
