Well, that's true. However, how to explain the following: As I said before, I was not able to boot with dapper-6 kubuntu's image. After that, I tried to make dapper-6 xubuntu variant. I have used packages from kubuntu cd (which I had burnt but could not boot with). Additional packages were downloaded with help of jigdo. Then I made xubuntu install cd and I burned it to the SAME cd-rw disk that I previously used for kubuntu. I was able to boot and install xubuntu from it! Unfortunately, after installation I reveal the network is not active. However this is another problem.
