Comment: Did a bit more digging today. Firstly, this bug also exists in Breezy. Secondly, it was unfair of me to assign this bug to the amaroK package. As it seems it affects all KDE applications. I just tried Kopete with the exact same outcome. So it's fair to say that any application which uses this code for hyperlinks (which will probably be the vast majority of KDE applications) will have issues.
