I visited Dan last March for a couple of days. He is alive and well.
Diehl Aeronautical makes cockpit shells for Flight safety
International, interior panels for the airline industry, and have made
items for the KC-135 refueling Military tankers, and a travelling
"Smoke In Cockpit" simulator shell, for training co-pilots how to use
it.. As in making parts for KR's, he also makes parts for classic
boats. I helped Butch Koppe ( KR Newsletter founder ), sand one of the
XTC , Prototype wings for primer and paint. Wow, that was a long time
ago, and it would have been the spring or fall of 1981.Oh, to be young
again.

Anyone in the Oklahoma area know how Dan is doing?
