| The odyssey batter I had as well as the FULLRIVER battery I use now , comes in its own metal mount bracket. I use that to mount it , just added a easy to remove locking clip so the battery just slides out

For those who are thinking of using the popular Odyssey PC680 battery, I started searching for a holddown for one and was quite surprised to find that there are some nice brackets made just for them. Under $40 and you can get one in powder-coated aluminum
(ex: eBay item 175742553285, free shipping)or bare steel. A set of copper L-adapters with M6 bolts to fit the female threads in the PC680 will bring the battery terminals out of the housing where you can bolt on your cable lugs.
