I have been using Marvel Mystery oil for years but thought of it more
as a valve lubricant than a lead reducer.

I didn't mention in my earlier post but besides putting a few extra
ounces in ever 5 gallon can of fuel I also put as much as a half quart
in the crankcase at oil change time. To my knowledge I never had a
sticky valve problem for 1300 hours on high time engines.
