Hi Kiwi. Have stalled the aircraft last week hence the delay as i had to get use to the aircrafts handling but mine stalls at 55mph. Sorry for the long delay. With the longer legs she is quite a handfull during take off and landing but it gets easier. She is realy a joy to fly. Im thinking of building one with retract with a 1835cc VW engine. The problem is to get a set of plans to be able to supply a serial number to the CAA. All the best.

I am restoring New Zealand's only example of the KR-1 and it would be very helpful in my dealings with the Civil Aviation Authority if I had an example of real life KR-1 stalling speeds at a given aircraft mass and configuration. Of course, I would welcome advice from any forum member who has qualitative stalling data for the KR-1. Thank you for your understanding.
