NetHeads,

I fully applaud the photo binge we're having on KRnet, but please reduce the size of the photos, both in terms of number of pixels for inch (or mm), but also in terms of megabytes.  20 MB photos are completely unnecessary, and can be a real problem if the recipient's email client tries to display them full size.  I used the practically free "Thunderbird" app, and some of these photos I could only see a small part of the plane, or I could scroll left, right, up, and down and see a small part of the plane at any given view.  I've since downloaded a Thunderbird add-on that resizes the image to fit on screen, but I doubt that some other recipients will have that option.  If you're using a phone to take them, the phone should have settings that reduce the size, or if an iphone, you can send the photo to yourself and resize it to a smaller version while sending, and then post the smaller version.

So keep the photos coming, but please resize them before posting to make them a more reasonable size, like 1024x768 or smaller.  A file size larger than one megabyte is completely unnecessary.

Thanks for your cooperation with this.

In other news, I'm in the process of reassembling the GPASC 2180cc VW engine from Jim Faughn's 1JF KR2.  The front bearing has not been very agreeable, but I finally got that straightened out, and the case buttoned up today, so cylinders and heads are up next.  I'll give a more detailed update as I get closer to getting it ready to fly. I work on it almost every day, so it shouldn't be long....
