Glad to hear you made it with no serious injury or damage. KR two because
of it short length is very susceptible to crosswinds. My KR has a total
wingspan 3 feet longer than the plans KR with 18 inch wing tip extensions.
It’s more like a glider! I can only assume had that situation happened to
me my results would’ve been seriously compromised. I have noticed this just
when Taxi checking my airplane and making turns how in One Direction it
fights the wind and the other direction the tail just whips around and over
response my input. this situation would not have gone well for me.
Congratulations on your recovery of the aircraft and keeping it on the
runway.
