As Langford pointed out; And see https://www.krgathering.net/ to register, on the left in blue.... "register to attend" . Nothing binding, no cost, just an indicator of who might be there and when. I’ve had a few reports that registrations didn’t go through. I was having problems with hacker(s) beating up on the registration form. I fixed that about 3 weeks ago. --IF, for any reason, you do not get an IMMEDIATE confirming email back to the address you used to register, your request wasn’t successful. Try again. Some cell phones don’t do a great job of offering alternate InterWeb options. Maybe try a different browser or device like a tablet or a laptop. Lastly, Larry F pointed out there doesn’t seem to be a lot of planning going into the 2024 Event. That’s true I guess. Maybe our rag tag group is slowing down and just going with the flow these days. I’m not sure. Chris Collins, our MVN airport manager makes sure we have facilities. Other than that, everything is a bonus. I know Larry used a detailed checklist to organize preparation for the event. That list is summarized on the [Fly-In Contacts] page of the Gathering web site. Please go there and see what was involved. * I run the KRGathering web site. It’s not fancy but it is reliable. At least nobody complains! * I’m offering to do [Pro Shop] shirts and hats again. Last year product delivery scratched because I left apparel signups too late to accommodate the vendor’s production. This year we’ll pay for it out of the KR Gathering coffee can administered by the intrepid Paul Visk, another long-term volunteer to our cause. -So for 2024, orders will cut off August 5 -To get something on order, [Register To Attend] and sign up for apparel. Please do it now. -Show up to pick it up. If you don’t, it will be given away during the Saturday dinner. * If you see something you want to do, step up and do it. IE: * If you want to see trophies for awards, step up to the plate and organize it. Then send this mail list a message & tell us, ok? I hope this message is helpful. Our group is and acts pretty independently. Thus organizing them/us can be/is difficult at times. I have high respect for Larry in “mothering the Gatherings” for so many years. More respect to Langford & now Rob for presenting annually at Oshkosh/ AirVenture. And Paul Visk for responsibly administering the KR Gathering Finances. Looking forward to seeing everyone who makes it to the Gathering. Personally I’m hoping to fly N133RM in again, WX & smoke permitting. I hope you’re there too.
