My 2 c.If it is indeed the bms shutting the battery off, it may be possible that the bms is defective (not likely). Your over drawing current past the capacity that the bms will allow, or it's overheating and causing it to shut off. Also there may be enough noise on the charging circuit which causes the bms to spaz out. None of this explains why the ignition system shutdown. Which begs the question is it really the battery? Until you monitor the voltage at various places and the total current draw your just kind of guessing. You need the data. The good point in all of this is that your "dynamo" may not be working as intended and now is a good time to verify it also.Good luck

This scares me enough that I amnow very hesitant to use a Lipo with BMS.After about five minutes of taxi, my engine shut off as if theignition switch had been shut off. There was absolutely no power atthe ignition switch. The BMS took over and shut the system down. After about 10 minutes, The battery came back to life and shestarted right up. Only to again shut down after a few minutes ofrunning. Why is this happening? Is it due to the Dynamo? Whywouldn't my engine keep running just off the Dynamo. Does theBMS somehow disable the entire system? I am feeling likeLarry Flesner said. I think I too will only fly with AGM batteries.Seems this BMS in Lipo batteries is a source of failure we do notneed.
