Other types of Lithium batteries can be much more volatile and I wouldn’t put them anywhere near an airplane.

I didn't check but I'm guessing they are probably LiFePo4 or some of the newer safer chemical makeup that is not as dangerous. There is a reason you can't ship Lithium batteries on passenger carrying aircraft.

I'm also not sure how these were being use but I believe they were used in marine use like a trolling motor or similar.
