I am Jim Gogniat in North Texas. Having built a KR2 with retracts in the 1990's. (I think I wrote about the firewall when I put a square up against it on the jig table while framing.... November "KR news letter 1992" maybe?)I am now starting a KR-1.....and for the fun of it I want to build an original design to see how close to the design empty weight we can get. So I'm in need of original retract gear parts, new/used KR1 or 2 . If you have converted your plane and would be willing to part with them please let me know what you have!
