Lonnie's response (just below) from my asking if he knew anyone working on 
toroidal props.  They work on ships and boats and drones.  They maximize thrust 
and do so at lower RPM's.  It's only a matter of time before someone puts one 
on a plane and not long after that we'll all want one.
Anyone know somebody working on this?  Mark?

 I know of no one that is building these for aircraft use, I do not plan to 
market them but thanks for asking.
