Here we go with Landing on the mains again. We get into that argument out at the airport. out of 10 people that land on their mains seven of them have hit their prop at least once. there's no need to land on your mains three point Landing works every time Crosswinds it doesn't matter I've got 800 hours in a KR and 3000 hours in a tail wheel altogether. I probably land on the mains once a year just because, I have been in Crosswinds that eventually I have had to go land on a taxi way to deal with them. We even had a couple people say it was easier to get into a short runway, landing on the mains so we had a little contest nobody could land as short on the mains is they could on three-point. Really don't want to hear from the commercial pilots at 30,000 hours because if you talk to them it's all in the bigger planes it is completely different than our little ones.
