I totally agree with you. But on the other hand I was not trying to
recreate the wheel.
Hoping if I saw someone with a configuration close to mine I'd copy.

My delimer is that my shutoff valve is right below the header tank. and is
6" recessed towards the fire wall.
As a result I can not see it.

I'm getting a lot of flack for it.

One solution is to put a universal joint and extend the turn off knob out
to the instrument panel.
