Hello everyone, I'm Zach Martine the new owner of 211LF based at
KMDH. You can follow my current adventures on flight aware- I've been
doing plenty of flight testing recently along with some longer trips.
Unfortunately for the purists, 211LF is no longer a plain clean white-
and she is draped in a new dress inspired by a Pitts. See attached for
a sneak peak... you'll have to wait for the gathering to see the rest
of the modifications. I've been busy since taking possession, and I
must say- Larry has built a wonderful flying aircraft. It was
definitely a difficult transition breaking the habits from 600 hours
of tri-gear instructing, but once I locked it in every flight has been
a dream.
I've been documenting every step of my journey with 211LF and will be
posting to a build log eventually. I have found a good amount of speed
that wasn't available before and am trueing out at about 154kt/176mph
turning at 2600rpm and 4000ft.
