I forwarded this on to my best friend John who now lives in the UK since he's
not only a KR builder but an aerobatic instructor owning a series of Pitts &
other planes that go upside down. I think Russell used to post here on the net
some years back. He had/has a company (Whisper?) building slick composite
aircraft of his own design (unless I've got him mixed up with someone else).
This is about the nicest looking KR-1 I've ever seen.

Jeffery's Bay was my first flight for Scan Air, Oscar in the right seat to
evaluate my flying skills prior to actually hiring me. That was with a C-402B
and a plane load of business people. I was constantly impressed when I first
got to RSA (and throughout my time there, for that matter) with the beauty of
the country, Jeffery's Bay was especially gorgeous that particular day.
This is a particularly nice looking KR-1. Most KR-1's are not nearly as nice
looking as this one.
