I went to the airport today to knock the cobwebs and construction dust off the KR and within 100 feet of my hangar was the BETA prototype electric airplane that had spent the night in the large hangar next to the tee hangars.  I spent several hours talking with / asking questions of the air and ground crew.  At this point it is flying with only a single (500 hp) electric motor in the tail as a pusher.  The vertical lift engines are not yet installed.  It is 100 % carbon fiber and very futuristic looking.   I pointed out the 50 year advance in composite technology between my KR and their all electric , VTOL, carbon fiber airplane.  One of the pilots kept pushing me to sell him the KR in spite of the difference.
