The advisory against prop extensions was based on experience with the original 
un-modified pulley bearing conversions.

To my knowledge, there have been no crank failures with the ForceOne or the 
extended Revmaster crankshaft flange 

Additionally, Revmaster sells 3" and 4” extensions for these engines and has 
not had issue with them.

Just as important (maybe more so), the advisory to remove the pulley bearing 
oil flow restrictor post dates the recommendation against prop hub extensions.  
It looked like a lot of (maybe all of) the crank failures were due to oil 
starvation of the pulley bearing.

Finally, we now have the option (i think requirement) to dynamically balance 
the full installation. 

All this just to say that yes, any poorly installed, unbalanced installation is 
a potential disaster, but I think the prohibition against extensions is 
obsolete.
