My experience with Foreflight and Apple GPS: I sometimes have an iPhone11, iPad mini4 and ipad Mini5 running at the same time, with my Stratus running the GPS . All 3 Apple devices give different GPS speeds. My son and I think it's because the embedded GPS chip in the Apple devices keep getting improvements to their performance. Based on that, I put more faith in a dedicated GPS unit, than any phone or tablet. Often Wrong, Griff
