In 455 JS, I use a sight gauge, in the center of my instrument panel, for my forward deck fuel tank. I also use a Teflon lined ,stainless steel, braided line direct to a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Neither of these require battery power. As Larry Flesner says, " Your results may vary ".
